`ISO_Level3_Shift` triggers input mode

I use a non-standard keyboard layout, neo2.0, which uses ISO_Level3_Shift to switch between layers. I have noticed that when I try to switch to another layer using ISO_Level3_Shift, the input modality is opened. Can this be configured to stop somewhere?

The keybinding for activating the input method is \ by default

Lol, it seems like VSCode handles ISO_Level3_Shift as backslash?! At least that is shown when I press it in the dynamic input setting widget.
