thanos compact error: unknown long flag '--block-sync-concurrency'

Thanos compact pods are in CrashbackLoop status with error:
unknown long flag '--block-sync-concurrency'

Steps to reproduce the issue:
Chart v0.4.9
Thanos image version: 0.31.0

Few of the blogs/docs says that '--block-sync-concurrency' is no longer used in thanos v0.27.1 onwards, however the helm chart still has this line in thanos.compact.

Expected behavior
thanos compact pods running successfully
