Change return type to contain angles

We current project the result on the 2D and discard the angles.
We can let the user choose to do so, and return the shapes in 3D.
How should we return an 'angle'? double? direction?

You want to keep the possibility of using exact computation. The question is also how you obtain the angle. If you obtain it as a double, then there is no point messing around with it. If you can obtain it as an unnormalized direction, then return exactly that.
