Clicking on week 1 on 2025-12-29 selects week 1 2025, should be week 1 2026.

Clicking on the 01 week number, I was expecting to be taken to 2026-W01, but it is opening 2025-W01.

I have tried ISO and US weeks but it doesn't make any difference.

The Q1 quarter is opening 2026-Q1 correctly.

Clicking on week 02 opens 2026-W02 correctly.

It seems like it's only the edge case of a week with both years that is an issue.

@RobColes What's your weekly note name template? Week numbering year should be used for this to function properly. For example, I use RRRR/RRRR-'W'ww

Thanks @xikxp1 - I generate the weekly files externally as I include stuff from Google calendar and other places. The files are just yyyy-Wnn.

I don't think it is relating to the name - I have not had any issues with it until now, it opens the week before and the week after fine, and it is opening a week 01 file, it's just 2025-W01. I think it's related to the weird week where the new year starts in the middle of the week exactly. I'm sure there is a rule for this.

Key ISO 8601 Week Rules:
Week Start: Monday (1) to Sunday (7).
First Week: The week containing the first Thursday of the year.

So this week should be 2026-W01 according to the standard,
