View does not resize in Landscape mode

• react-native v0.54.2

Expected behaviour

I expected that the components in the view should resize say when the device is turned to Landscape mode
The view say textinput should resize and fit the screen resolution when the device is turned to landscape mode
Device tested on: Android Marshmallow

Actual behaviour

The view aligns at one part of the screen thereby dividing the screen into two equal parts

Steps to reproduce

1. Turn the device is landscape mode
