Applications take 1-2 minutes to open #3570

Are these apps installed with pacman or Flatpak? Flatpaks will often take 30+ seconds to open on my slower computers with spinning hard drives and weaker specs. And that's independent of my Linux distribution so this may not be an Omarchy issue. |

They were installed via the "Package" or "AUR" options in the Install menu which I assume is using pacman and Package is just using the Omarchy mirror? Drive is a 1TB Samsung NVME |

I think the Omarchy servers just install default applications during the initial install. After that I'd assume pacman installs or aur installs are no longer using Omarchy servers, but are instead installing non-default Omarchy packages from the aur, or wherever else. But that's just a guess. I'm sorry I'm not able to help more. |

Been experiencing this as well on a DellXPS16. Github-Desktop, Obsidian, and a few select apps take centuries to open, and I forget I had hit the keybind by the time they're available. |

System details
Dell Precision 5550 (i7-10850H, Nvidia Quadro T2000 Mobile), Omarchy 3.1.7
What's wrong?
When opening additional installed apps, things like Github Desktop, Cursor they generally seem to take anywhere from 1-2 minutes to open. Noting that default installed apps like Chromium appear to be instant.
I've seen people raise issues for slow launches but they all appear to be with sub 10 seconds.
Happy to provide what ever details are needed to troubleshoot! :)
