MacBook Pro retina resolution

Hi,
I’ve installed Omarchy on a 2012 Intel MacBook Pro. The display resolution is 2880x1800, and everything looks so tiny I’d need a magnifying glass to read it. Is there a way to change it to something more usable?
I've tried to use different settings on hyprctl but nothing happens.

Did you try to relaunch hyprland when you did the scale change to 2 in the monitors.conf file? It should reload it automatically.

Also the default terminal (alacritty) has the font size set to 9. you can change it by editing ~/.config/alacritty/alacritty.toml file

Yes, I've relaunched it, and also I've tried to restart the PC :(
And I've tried all the different options in the monitors.conf

Sorry if you've already solved this yourself, but this has to do with the monitor not being detected properly on install. The default nvidia drivers installed on this Macbook don't work properly (how to fix that isn't necessarily relevant here, but @ me on the discord if you need help- same username). That said, you can add the following lines to your .config/hypr/monitors.conf:

monitor=Unknown-1,2880x1800@60,auto,2 # necessary when nvidia drivers aren't working
monitor=eDP-1,2880x1800@60,auto,2 # iGPU, probably not necessary
monitor=eDP-2,2880x1800@60,auto,2 # dGPU when nvidia is working, probably not necessary though

FYI: It's possible I have eDP-1 and 2 mixed up as far as which is active for iGPU/dGPU but the result is the same.

You can see the name of your "monitor" by running hyprctl monitors and basically just use those values (which is the above- we have the same machine).
