[FEATURE] Automatically update basic-memory #163
Description
Feature Description
It would be ideal if basic-memory could automatically update itself.
Problem This Feature Solves
Outdated versions of basic-memory may have bugs or missing features that are inconsistent with the current documentation.
Proposed Solution
It could check online for the latest version and compare the running version to the latest. If it finds a newer version it could be downloaded in the background and installed so that when the process restarts the new version is started.
Alternative Solutions
Give the user a notification that a new version is available and prompt them to take action to install it.
Additional Context
Impact
Bugs would be fixed and new features would be added automatically.
