Displays my name and profile picture

The problem

Hi all,

just set up signal-cli-rest-api using my landline number. I have POSTed the new username and PUT the profile name. I have then sent the first messages via signal-cli-rest-api. Everything fine so far.

But the issue i have is, that in the signal chat on my iPhone (with latest OS), it displays messages from signal-cli-rest-api with my Name and my profile picture coming from my address book. I assume this is, because in my address book i have my landline number also within my vcard and i guess it is syncing against this. So Patrick is chatting with Patrick.

Is there any option i have missed out, so that set the username and profile picture hard?

I think that is WAD - at least I can't think of any way to circumvent that. To me that also makes sense, as it allows one to store the contact with some additional context in one's address book. So in my mind it kinda makes sense that the information in the address book always "wins".
