Windows Terminal scrolling is laggy when enabling ligatures

Scrolling in Windows Terminal is laggy when using the Iosevka font with ligatures. Other fonts (JetBrains Mono, Cascadia Code) work fine. Any idea how to fix it?

This is the nature of enabling many of the features that interacts with letters and CDMs.
If you subset the char set to just ASCII then maybe it will go away...
