Delayed Backup

I just made a number of changes in Aegis which resulted in 5 backups being done in a space of 2 minutes.
I have a limit of 5 backups to be saved! This effectively meant losing the previous days config!!
Would it be possible to have an option that changes are backed up after a couple of minutes or maybe to make sure that there are backups for n days minimum instead of a simple counter.

This sounds pretty similar to #1105. Would #1105 (comment) work for you? I'd be hesitant to implement a delay for backups since it's very hard to get Android to reliably run scheduled background tasks.
