Contributor Spotlight: May 2026

This spotlight records the first completed starter proofreading loop after the public 1000-star roadmap and good-first issue queue were seeded. It uses only public GitHub evidence and does not imply rewards, sponsorship, financial upside, or preferential review.

Highlight

  • @leno23 — content proofreading: improved the beginner-facing English in en/Web3QuickStart/01_FirstWeb3Identity/README.md while preserving lesson structure, headings, image links, and technical meaning. Evidence: PR #167, closing issue #159.

Learner Impact

The first Web3 identity lesson is one of the earliest onboarding pages a new English-speaking learner reads. The accepted proofreading pass made the introduction, Web3 overview, and MetaMask backup instructions smoother without changing the underlying safety guidance or tutorial flow.
