Add examples

Should examples include benchmarks, or should those be separate? Maybe they belong in tests?

Some examples might include usage as

• A function parameter on a translation unit boundary
• A function return type on a translation unit boundary
• An API type for multiple implementations of some functionality

Other ideas are welcome!
