The CNIL recently released a public demo tool focused on traceability of open-source AI models, especially their genealogy (parent and descendant models), based on Hugging Face traces.

This is a visualisation that's a little too dense because it's for a very popular model and without filters, but it could be presented in a more readable way :

I think it would make a lot of sense to surface this kind of information directly in compar:IA’s model descriptions for the open models.
This could start very simply by adding an image or interactive graph inside a “Genealogy / traceability” section in the model card. As an external integration, or maybe we could even reproduce the pipeline directly in compar:IA.
It's not something that needs to be done urgently, but it feels like a very natural building block for where compar:IA is heading.
