Can't get it working

I can't get the plugin working. Following the instructions works out OK.

I don't see the extension per the guide

I can see it in the Extensions list

However once I click on it,

Removing the installed extension in ROAMING then let's me install it, but I'm back to square one where I can't Go to Tools > GhidraMCP > Start MCP Server

once it is installed, it starts automagically when you open a Codebrowser.

configuring the extensions, is done through CodeBrowser > Edit > Tool Options

enable/disable it (once installed to your profile), also in: CodeBrowser > File > Configure > Configure All Plugins

Installing to your user profile should be done from the Project explorer (main Ghidra window). File > Install Extensions

This is only needed for manual install. The (windows) install script should already have taken care of installing it into your profile.

Thanks @Pandoriaantje for the walkthrough — that covers it. The PowerShell deploy script (ghidra-mcp-setup.ps1 -Deploy) automates the FrontEnd activation now, which is the path most folks should use on Windows. @gcormier — if you're still stuck after a fresh install via the script, reopen and I'll dig in. Closing as resolved.
