LAN multiplayer without Internet access?

I have a buddy in same house. Sometimes our Internet sucks.
Wanting to play together on our in-house network.
Sorry if this exists and I didn't see it.
If so, how do I set that up?

So sad it doesn't exist T-T. Users without Internet access are not given very much attention... Hope it will be released soon!

If you dig through infra repos you may be able to figure out how to set up a local server, it's doable but possibly complicated. It seems everybody is either too busy or uninterested in making the process easier though so you're probably on your own.

I know it is technically possible to create a LAN server. I tried, but I couldn't find the game file the launcher is giving to Recoil Engine.
