dragons freezing on the factory

The Cortex dragon unit will sometimes get stuck on the T2 aircraft factory after construction and will not follow commands. This affects all dragons of that factory until the factory is relocated but after it has happened once, future dragons from the relocaded factory will freeze in place and not follow orders for a number of seconds after construction.

this does indeed happen rather commonly from some basic testing I did using /nocost

they eventually get unstuck but yeah that's... not ideal

did you find that there's anything specific that causes it? or is it just completely random? this has game-ruining potential, it prevented me from forming a push which would have cost me the game if I didn't rebuild the factory and get a single dragon up to sneak around the enemy.

No I haven't looked into the code for this. I was just curious how often it happens, and it is quite easy to reproduce. Some people put up issues saying something happened in some game and it's hard to reproduce but this was the easiest thing to reproduce ever.

Probably has to do with the big engine patch that happened and the fact that dragons, unlike most airplanes, have collision detection with other units.
