Very impressive work. I'm still taking my time to understand everything.
I will try to modify a couple of things and let you know if I'm successful:

Adjust DB_BrightnessSet_adjustment by changing brightness in the default Android screen brightness slider. I want to read the value set and adjust your variables in order to meet the set brightness.

Disable when in landscape mode or proximity sensor detects proximity.

There is one thing I didn't get in the display Brightness Adjust task:

I don't get the action 40 from Display Brightness Adjust task. It stops the %brighten task but brighten is a number (screen brightness) and there are no tasked named as numbers.
