Thumbnail size

Hi, is there a way to configure the display size of the thumbnails? I export a THUMBNAIL_WIDTH environment variable (via the run_smartgallery.sh file), and when Smart Gallery launches, it reports that it is reading that correctly, but it doesn't seem to actually affect the thumbnail size. I'm checking on mobile, so perhaps this is hard-coded there?

Edit: I now see that this variable affects the resolution of the thumbnail, and not the actual display size in the gallery. So I'm guessing this one is a feature request then?

Hello, have you tried the optioons menu ->compact size for the thumbnails? Isn't that sufficent for your configuration?

Hello. Yes, I did try the compact size option. It doesn't have any impact on mobile, where you only get one column, which makes glancing through the gallery quite tedious as you need to scroll a lot. I would like to see the option for many more columns on both desktop and mobile so that I can quickly identify which image I want to process further.

OH Yes, that was a choice of mine, but only for the mobile visualization, but if you think it would be useful on the mobile view too I will take care and in next release or in a patch I will make 2 - 3 columns thumbnails also in the mobile view when compact thumbnail size is selected. Thank you.

Thank you, that would be most welcome. I'm going to make a separate thread on perhaps saving even more space on mobile with some thumbnail UI adjustments. Please have a look.

Nice work. I'm on Linux, so not for me, but I'm sure it will help increase the reach of your users, because a portable Windows version should be a lot easier to install and manage. Good luck!
