BIDS URI of a dataset

As part of the BEP, we introduced a new way to describe provenance at dataset level (i.e.: describing how a whole dataset was generated, without being specific about files).

I created an example for that : bids-standard/bids-examples#502
See the associated JSONLD and graph files.

In this example, I want to use a BIDS URI for the described datasets.

The BIDS URI section of the BIDS specification explains how to reference files of a BIDS dataset using URIs, but is there a way to reference datasets using URIs ?

bids:ds001734 is a valid URI, but bids:: or bids: for the current dataset is not.

@satra @yarikoptic do you have any thoughts on this one ?

@bclenet - it seems this would require making the optional to refer to a bids dataset. that would need to be proposed as a change to bids.

also since @yarikoptic has been involved with the notion of a study, i'm not sure how bids uri would pertain to different datasets in a study. that would also need to be adjusted.
