Explore applicability of MultiQC for visualization of QC output #33
Description
Investigate if the MultiQC library can be used to visualize the output from the QC process in hvantk.
Context
MultiQC is widely used for aggregating quality control results, but it focuses on sample-level aggregation.
- Caveats:
- MultiQC may not be suitable for large-scale datasets (thousands of samples) due to performance/visualization challenges.
- Applicability at the variant level (millions of variants) is unclear.
Scope:
- Survey MultiQC capabilities and plugin model for potential integration in hvantk.
- Test with a large number of samples and variants, if possible.
- Report on scalability, performance, and usefulness for typical hvantk outputs.
