"visibility and grouping" and "brightness and color" dialogs lack scroll bars

Fiji/ImageJ 2.16.0/1.54r; Java 21.0.7 running on MacOS Monterey/Intel Mac

Both the "visibility and grouping" and "brightness and color" dialogs never show scroll bars, which makes them essentially unusable when working with a large number of tiles (i.e. when the list overflows the screen estate). I'm attaching a screenshot.

True. This is the old UI, which will not be fixed and probably be removed at some point.

You can use the side-panel UI which (hopefully...) allows to handle a large number of tiles more conveniently. The description of #68 has a rough overview of how to use it

Just the other day, while whatching a video on BigStitcher by @StephanPreibisch, I realized about the existence of that side panel. Somehow I had missed the dim blue arrow all along... perhaps I could suggest to make it more visible?

The instructions in PR #68 are exactly what was missing to make full sense of that panel! Please consider linking to it from the BDV wiki. Thanks alot!!

I have the same issue. The hidden side panel is difficult to explain to people.
