Android App: GIF previews disappear when clicked on

🐞 Describe the bug

When dismissing an animated GIF attachment and returning to the messages view, the GIF preview is no longer viewable as part of the message. One has to navigate back to the subscription view and back into the specific subscription for the GIF previews to be re-rendered.
