timing of exploratory analysis (day 1)

Since adjusting the schedule to have all of the stats on day 2, the session of EDA is a bit tight on day 1.
There's also some confusion from participants about the vst/rlog transform, partially because the slides for this are actually on the first presentation of day 2.

We could try to:

• Include the vst/rlog slides on day 1 as an intro to the EDA section.
• Remove exercise 1 (import the transcripts with tximport) to get a bit of extra time
• Make it clear that hierarchical clustering is optional (if it's past 5PM on a course we don't cover it)

Maybe we could move the discussion about transformation to some introductory slides, do it with code is more time consuming than it needs to be. Also, I think perhaps we could just use rlog and mention that there is also vst and what the differences are in the slides.
