In many apps, React is already in the global namespace, thus making it unnecessary to import any types from react.

// invalid
import { type FC } from "react";

const MyComponent: FC = () => null;

// valid
const MyComponent: React.FC = () => null;

Technically we can access React without importing the namespace, but I don't see why we should recommend that. Using imported name should improve the readability; it's clear where the React symbol is coming from. React has already removed the JSX namespace from global, and it's possible that React will remove the React namespace from global too.
