Trademark and logo use: The repository name "bitcap-ipr", the program name "BitCap IPReporter", the company name "Bit Capital Group" (and any stylizations or abbreviations such as "BitCap"), their logos, and other branding (collectively “Trademarks”) are not licensed under the project’s open-source license and remain the sole property of their respective owners.
Permitted uses: You may fork, copy, modify, and redistribute the source code under the project’s chosen open-source license, but you may not use the Trademarks without prior written permission from the trademark owner.
Prohibited actions without permission: You must not:
- Use the Trademarks in any product name, service name, or project name;
- Use the company name or any confusingly similar name in a way that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without prior written permission;
- Reproduce or distribute standalone logo artwork for commercial or promotional purposes.
Allowed attribution: You may include factual statements such as “This product is derived from bitcap-ipr” or “Derived from BitCap IPReporter” provided you do not use the Trademarks in a way that implies endorsement.
How to request permission: To request permission to use the Trademarks, contact sales@bitcap.co and include the intended use, distribution method, and sample artwork or text.
Removal on request: If the trademark owner requests that you cease use of their Trademarks, you must promptly comply and remove the Trademarks from your distribution.
