Currently, the only way for creators on BitcoinTV to receive contributions is from users of the Alby (getalby.com) browser extension. The publisher only needs a ⚡+lightning address in the profile's About section. Alby detects the ⚡+ lightning address That´s already an improvement. Now, the new Lightning Plugin allows anyone to support their favorite creator on a PeerTube instance with any Lightning wallet.

Visitors can hardly support their favorite content creators on BitcoinTV with voluntary contributions known as Value4Value payments. Although Value4Value gains popularity in podcasting there is now a convenient way to support creators on PeerTube instances.

The plugin allows streaming sats and sending boostagrams to creators. At the same time, the host of the PeerTube instance can configure to earn a split of the payment.
