Cannot seem to get jtx Board to sync with davx5

unsure if this is a davx5 or jtx board issue, but jtx board doesn't seem to recognise my account? i went to app permissions and enabled everything, however i can't seem to enable the jtx board permissions switch, just doesn't do anything. i've pressed "add account in davx5" in the jtx app and gone through the process of adding my account yet the button doesn't change even after pressing synchronise

both apps have all their system settings-wise permissions granted by the looks of things, i'm running lineage 23.0 rooted on a pixel 6

In your screenshot here you did not switch on jtx board - maybe that is the problem?

I have the same problem. On the app permissions screen I can't enable the jtx board permissions. It doesn't respond. In the Android Settings > App Permissions everything is enabled.

OK I managed to get it work. I had to clear all data o DAVx5 app in the settings. And then go through the DAV setup again. Seems that the issue is that if I first allow all permissions (without tasks) to DAVx5 and then install jtx, I can't switch the tasks permissions on. But if I first install jtx and configure it and then install DAVx, everything works fine.

It's a very old android bug that never got fixed as it seems. It is sometimes and under specific circumstances (which we do not know exactly) that the Android system which is control of the permissions system, does not grant visibility between apps. So sometimes it only helps to reverse the order of installing apps to make one app "see" the other and grant permission to access their storage.
