ICS file support?

I was wondering if it would be possible to implement davx5 such that it could read AND WRITE calendar events to a local .ics file. This feature was dismissed for icsx5 because icsx5 apparently is only going to support the "read-only" use case of ICS.

I can confirm that DAVx⁵ will eventually get ICS file support. At least reading ICS files and URLs. I can't promise anything more, neither release date or if it will eventually support writing. But it will for sure get ICS file support, kind of replacing ICSx⁵ and integrating its features directly.
