I’d like to request a feature enhancement for this Companion module that would make controlling audio on a TriCaster much more flexible. Specifically, it would be very useful to have the ability to mute and unmute individual audio channels (e.g., Input 1, Input 2, DDRs, etc.) as well as the master bus directly from Companion.
This functionality would provide:
-
Quick, reliable control of live audio without needing to manually adjust the TriCaster interface.
-
More seamless integration with existing workflows, especially in live event and broadcast environments where rapid muting/unmuting is often required.
-
A consistent approach to controlling both inputs and the master bus, aligning with how video routing and switching are already managed.
Adding this feature would significantly improve Companion’s utility for operators who rely on Companion as a primary control surface for TriCaster systems.
Best regards
