Button 'Local' Variables scope #4222

Hey, If I have a button with a Local Variable ("internal: User Value") called "Name" with value "Blah" & I set the main button title ("Button text string") to "$(local:Name)" 
Then I set up another button with any name and a "Press Action" of "internal: Local Variable: Set value" with details:
When I click the second button, it is able to update/write the Local Var "Name" in the first, changing it's title... This is weird - you would think local scope would be entirely within the button... I'm using it to my advantage at the moment, but wonder if/when this behaviour will go away? Thoughts? |

Writing to these from elsewhere was an intentional decision, to allow for various workflows (as you are finding). On a technical level, writing to local variables of somewhere else is cheap and easy to do. Its the reading of them from elsewhere which I will push back on. |
