[BUG] Custom Variables not included in Backup?

Describe the bug

I made a backup from Companion 3.4.3 because I needed to reset my PC to factory. I reinstalled with 3.5.3—I thought we had updated, but apparently not—and no custom variables were restored. The fix was not difficult, but it was tedious to check nearly every button to check for custom variables.
