Triggers Condition on Surface Connect

Is this a feature relevant to companion itself, and not a module?

Describe the feature

When running Companion on a Raspberry Pi, there needs to be a 'Condition' or 'Event' to execute Triggers when a particular (remote) Surface connects.
For example, I have a Mac (with a StreamDeck) that launches Companion Satellite on login.
Companion needs to be able to run a trigger when that Satellite connects.

Also, cannot use variables for this, due to satellite variables disappearing when disconnected.
