Describe the feature
API access to more details about any companion instance. Connection, Surface, Trigger, Variable information and status.
Usecases
Our current use case involves over 20 deployments of Companion on Hosts across a large international SD-WAN. We have created a Monitoring and Management tool for this environment, and it would be helpful to be able to query the status of Connections and Triggers remotely. The specific case is for Trigger Collections ON or OFF, but I could see wanting to use Connection status or Surface status as other good data points.
