Some observations for future improvements:

1. When the remote keyboard (Windows) is locked on the host computer, it stops working; only the mouse works correctly.

2. When the remote keyboard (Windows) is installed for all users (I don't know if it's a service), I can't find which service it is because when I enter "administrator" mode, it stops responding. The Windows or remote modals of any application in administrator mode (requesting credentials) stop working. I would like the program to always run in administrator mode, and I achieve this by configuring "Run as" in the service.

3. When the remote keyboard (Windows) is locked, asking for credentials to unlock it doesn't work, even if the application is in "administrator" mode.

The issue with administrator access is described in the FAQ (essentially Windows prevents all non-admin processes from getting certain information like mouse and keyboard data when admin process is open and focused therefore Cursr can't function) in cursr.app page and atm as you figured does require user to manually run Cursr with admin privileges. An in-app option is planned and will be added in future updates to remove the need to do it after every restart of the device.

As for keyboard, there's no separate service or driver for it, it's just Cursr processes (2-4 depending if UI is closed or open, on Windows you can identify main process by moving the mouse between devices, the one with increase in CPU usage will be the main process handling this) talking to each other and listening to/simulating key presses and other controls.

Regarding the No.1 - Can you explain in more detail what you mean by 'locked on the host computer'? Do you mean that you clicked into an input/field where text is supposed to go, but when you use the remote keyboard it does not do anything? If yes, where is the mouse located - in host or in remote device of keyboard? Cursr does have a current limitation (fix is planned in future updates) where keyboard can only work on the same device where the mouse pointer is located in, so if you move the mouse from device A to device B, keyboard will only work in device B.
