This extras_req is a copy of the same in the pyodesys project.

Could you please remove it here because they are already installed by the pyodesys project ?

You're right. I have to admit I'm a bit fuzzy on how transitive the foo[...] syntax is with pip. I'll try to remove it. Thanks.
