2025 DeSouza Award

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share some exciting news related to Herbie and say a big thank you to this community! In September, I was honored to receive the Russel L. DeSouza Award from Unidata. This award recognizes my graduate work on building a HRRR archive and also the development of the Herbie Python package.

Herbie would not be what it is today without all the users and contributors here who have helped improve it over the years. Knowing that Herbie is used and appreciated by others keeps me excited to develop and maintain it.
