Better performance with Plex on MacOS?

Hello!

I have been using the Anime4K lower-end shaders with Plex on my desktop and Macbook Pro M4 and am really happy with the quality. However, on my laptop, after watching half an episode my computer gets hot (fans on max) and it chews through battery life. I was wondering if there is any way to get better performance (limiting framerate on Plex, plans to optimize shaders for silicon, etc)?

You can try running just the Restore Shader M or S to reduce battery usage.

@Tama47 is this the same as running profile B (CMD + 2) in Plex? Or do I need to modify mpv.conf and input.conf
