Bug description | 描述 Bug

Device Info:
• Device: Samsung Galaxy A07 (SM-A075F)
• OS: Android 15 (One UI 7.0)
• Build Number: AP3A.240905.015.A2.A075FXXU1AYG5
• APatch Version Used: 11142 (0.12.2)
• Bootloader Status: Already Unlocked (OEM unlocking active)
Describe the bug:
• First, trying to patch the full stock AP_...tar.md5 file via APatch manager fails instantly with a kernel image magic error.
• To bypass this, I extracted the stock boot.img from the AP archive, transferred it to the device, and successfully patched it using APatch manager (setting a superuser password). It generated apatch_patched_...img.
• Since Samsung devices require .tar formatting, I repacked the patched boot image into a compatible .tar archive using 7-Zip.
• When flashing only the patched boot.tar (or combined with stock vbmeta.tar to bypass AVB check) via SamFw/Odin tools along with full stock firmware (BL, CP, CSC), the device enters a bootloop (reboots 4+ times automatically).
• Finally, the phone halts at a black recovery screen with a yellow warning triangle, stating a "Security Error" and forcing a factory reset. The only way to rescue the device is by reflashing 100% unpatched stock firmware.
Questions:
• Is there a known incompatibility with APatch and Samsung's Android 15 / One UI 7.0 kernel encryption structure on this chip?
• Does this device require specific AVB / vbmeta patching parameters that the manager doesn't currently apply to the individual boot.img?

Reproduce method | 复现方法

  1. Open the APatch application on the device.
  2. Attempt to perform the core action (Patching Kernel / Granting Root).
  3. The application encounters an error or freezes/crashes instantly.
  4. See error or unexpected termination.

Expected behavior | 预期行为

The patched boot.tar file should flash successfully via Odin/SamFw tools, allowing the Samsung Galaxy A07 to boot normally into the system with full APatch root privileges activated.

Actual behavior | 实际行为

The device enters an automatic bootloop (reboots 4+ times) and then gets stuck on a black recovery screen showing a "Security Error" with a yellow warning triangle, forcing a factory reset. It only boots if unpatched stock firmware is reflashed.

Other information | 其他信息

Please check compatibility with Samsung Galaxy A07 (SM-A075F) running Android 15 / One UI 7.0 (Kernel 5.10.233). The manager patches individual boot.img fine, but flashing it triggers a strict security bootloop error. No custom logs available as the device refuses to boot past recovery.
