Promising... but simply can't use it

So I gave it a shot. At first glance it has most of the stuff I need - oidc, metadata fetch, organising into shelves etc. You really nailed the feature set.

But I simply can't use it. Whatever I touch is clunky or not working at all. And operations on files are crazy slow.

And I'm encountering problem after problem during use. Here's a quick selection:

1. I picked a file to upload and choose upload. I'm selecting the target library. The upload went through - but I don't see the book in library. The file is there (and thus I cannot reupload), but I don't see it.

2. Grabbing the metadata is hilariously bad. I've set api keys for additional services but that didn't help. While using Calibre I've never encountered so inaccurate (and simply wrong + slow) results. Even with ISBN provided! I laughed hard when one of the books on algorithms I've added got a childbook label.

3. Tried adding multiple genres from the menu. Simply can't as soon as I click save only the last one entered gets picked. Sometimes other genres miraculously are getting back.

4. How do you add folders when creating library? As I can pick a folder there should be also a way to create one.

5. I've deselected all the books - but the bar on the bottom is still visible and says I have 2 books selected.

6. I have one library selected - but the title on titlebar is stuck on other one.

7. Selected a couple of comicbooks and started metadata update. After a while - all the covers are set incorrectly and titles are simply gone.

I could go on ... but this is bad. Hope you'll be able to nail those down - I really had high hopes I could move from Calibre Web (with which I had 2 complaints - average readers and not meant for comicbooks). But at least for now sadly I don't think so. Hopefully you'll be able to straighten out the kinks.

It definitely has some maturing to do, but once the half-baked features are baked, this will be a service that I will feel comfortable sharing with people I know. The small headaches have been worth it for the most part. I do agree that there were some hiccups that have no business existing after 1.X.X, such as the lack of natural title sorting, and how the provider priorities were reversed for months, but the pace of development is a good sign that the project is coming together.
