KOReader sync for multiple users #3307

Hi there, maybe I have done something wrong while setting up ODPS and KOReader sync, or it is missing a feature. I have two users configured in Booklore. User A and B have access to OPDS and can browse and download books. I also setup KOReader with a dedicated user and password. Quite the same like described in the documentation: https://booklore.org/docs/integration/koreader Both user have the right to use the KOReader function. When user A reads a book and syncs his status, it is updated in Booklore. When user B reads a book and updates his progress, user A can see this progress update. Should this work like that, or did I do something wrong? If it works that why, wouldn't it be better to still have the KOReader sync URL, but the credentials are re-used from the OPDS or better from the user directly? |

Do you mean that both users are using the same KOReader credentials? Each user should create their own KOReader (and OPDS) credentials, in the settings for their own Booklore account. |

I also found this confusing. Settings->OPDS and Settings->Devices are for the current logged in user, while Settings->Users is a server-wide admin tool.
Each user should login to their own Booklore account, create their own OPDS and KOReader login in Settings, and set their devices to use those.
So in your case it sounds like User A should remove the User B OPDS login, then User B should go ahead and make their own.
