Device Tree

I thought I saw some documentation about device tree files and where to put them so bootc could use them at some point and can't find it anymore. Are they supported?

Seems to somewhat work... I see it put:

devicetree /boot/ostree/default-0097652f8bae8ef6dffc895e11aab10fbee78517f7428cc2ba0a17a09b89cd0e/devicetree-6.6.74-20250127.v8.1.el9

into /boot/loader/entries/ostree-2.conf

Though it didn't boot properly. But maybe thats something I did wrong somehow.

I've confirmed that the device tree I give it is the same as the one I gave the bootloader and it doesnt boot. If I deploy the image, then edit at grub, and remove the devicetree line, it boots again.

When it fails to boot, it tries to drop to a shell, but doesn't. looks like this:

It does take a ctrl-alt-del to reboot though.

Also found ostreedev/ostree#1900... tried that. I do see the dtb directory copied to /boot.... Not seeing any uboot config bits placed anywhere.

found it... in the grub config, now has

fdtdir /boot/ostree/default-ee78413e93cac907699cb2d9f9524a88820f18006f66b01d8a11a36999830860/dtb

But it looks like its ignored at the moment. only the dtb at the partition 1 / is taking affect.
