Sublists (lists within lists) are not rendered correctly after export to evernote

When creating a markdown list in a list:
* A
* B
  - B.1
  - B.2

the following appears in evernote, i.e. the sublist is concatenated into a single line and not put into a sublist:

* A
* B
B.1B.2
