On the readme it reads:

code is NOT yet production-ready.

Is there a roadmap or estimated release date for a python3 compatible boto? Or is everyone that's looking for py3 support just using boto's py3kport branch?

Sorry, there is no official release date yet. The project has been sleeping due to some changes that are being finalized. There should be an uptick in commits & progress in the near future.

Any news on this? As python3 is moving towards becoming the standard in the python ecosystem it's important with support of modules as widely used as boto.
