Description
When editing a line of input text, the delete key does nothing. Normally when editing text, the delete key would delete the next character. Backspace key works as expected. I don't have this problem in other programs or otherwise in bash shell.
I'm using standard US keyboard, nothing unusual, on Ubuntu 24LTS, Konsole and latest release version of gurk (0.8.0) gnu for x86_64. Is it expected behavior?
If it helps:
$ localectl status
System Locale: (unset)
VC Keymap: (unset)
X11 Layout: us
X11 Model: pc104
$ cat /etc/default/keyboard
# KEYBOARD CONFIGURATION FILE
# Consult the keyboard(5) manual page.
XKBMODEL="pc104"
XKBLAYOUT="us"
XKBVARIANT=""
XKBOPTIONS=""
BACKSPACE="guess"
(Typical default settings)
Thank you!
