Only seeing messages from Me

I have, for several weeks now, only been getting messages from me. I don't see any messages from other people. I was using 0.7.1 until today and now am on 0.9.0. Still the same. I mainly use gurk to archive my messages and photos and only occassionally use it to chat with folks.

I thought the connected device maybe got sideways so disconnected and reconnected the gurk client to my signal but the behaviour is the same.

Any advice? Logs that might be useful?
