pedagological strategies:

• teach the teachers before the course

• adding optional advanced section (extra exercises)

  • just for discussion, not creating additional tutorial material

• contact incoming students to see if they wish to participate

• have the tutorial series in may/june, neuromatch, then hackathon

Content

• inviting faculty to share data/project ideas
  • projects need to be small or straightforward in scope ("proof-of-concept")
  • 6 months of lead time to get faculty
• mechanisms for both students and faculty to propose projects
• begin advertising before finals (late april/early may)
