Have unsupported bulbs, seeking a contributor, willing to gift to submitter #595
-
Hi! I have three currently unsupported models of Hue (signify) bulbs that I was wondering if any contributors with the right setup for measuring could submit to this project? I have been using what I think are good substitutes, but wouldn't mind someone actually getting the accurate readings for them. LCT014 (currently substituting with LCT015) I think the substituting has been reasonably accurate, but I had meant to get something setup to do this myself, but honestly haven't had the time. I would be happy to ship these to someone in the U.S (I see a lot of y'all are from outside US, may be willing to go outside if no-one bites). And for your effort, you may keep the three test bulbs so you don't have to send them back to me. If anyone is interested, I guess best way to contact me, since github doesn't seem to have a DM system is to email me at powercalcgithub.interest2022@[my github handle drop the '1'].net and we can work out details. Thanks! And great add-on, thanks to everyone for your efforts. |

It's a cool idea. I was brainstorming with @KrzysztofHajdamowicz a few weeks ago about this. To provide some kind of list of people who can measure and are available to receive shipments. Still need to implement this in practice. For your particular case I cannot help because I live in the Netherlands. So it would get too expansive and cumbersome. Hopefully some other user which live in the US can help. |

When no one "bites" you could also have a look into taking the measurements yourself. It's not that complicated even for a non tech savy user. I'm using the Shelly Plug S which you can get for around 25 dollar, and is perfectly suitable to measure your mentioned light models. Have a look into the WiKi how to get started. https://github.com/bramstroker/homeassistant-powercalc/wiki/Contributing-new-lights. Happy to answer any questions you have. |

I'd be happy to run measurements and contribute with whatever bulbs! |
