Selectively install data (to save disk space)

currently all data is installed for all manufactures. Since I only use the Ikea and Hue, I manually delete all others.

Could it somehow be possible to only install required data sets?
Maybe by selecting them in the config flow?

Best ofc would e auto-sense, but I guess the data would already need to be there to be able to sense. Or this would slow down install too much, when dl'd upon request.

@Mariusthvdb All the data files from the complete library is only 5MB in total. So it's not an actual issue imho. Disk space is very cheap in 2022 and also bandwidth wise 5MB is not a real problem to download. Also it will not slow down your machine or the integration. Are you running your HA on a potato? ;-)
When it will get much more extensive and larger it makes sense to not include the library in the component download, but provide some download possibility. But this will make things more complex and error prone and will also take a significant development effort. So this is not something I am planning to do short term.
