Wait a sec, I see in your error message custom_components.powercalc.strategy.linear, which is the wrong strategy selected here. It should be fixed not linear.
Do you have a second config entry for this entity setup using the linear: option?

After pasting all that I realized I've been away from home assistant too long. I forgot - platform: powercalc between each sensor.

Yes that's the problem.

You can also do like this:

sensor:
  - platform: powercalc
    entities:
      - entity_id: fan.hallway
        name: fan_hallway
        fixed:
          power: 75
      - entity_id: light.upb_bathroom_fan
        name: fan_bathroom
        fixed:
          power: 45

Or setup using the new GUI configurator.
